Company and Union Begin Negotiations

Kroger Nashville and UFCW Local 1995 met last week to begin negotiations for a new collective bargaining agreement for Nashville Division associates.

During these initial sessions, both the Company and the Union shared opening statements and exchanged initial non-economic proposals. Reaching an agreement is a process, and it takes time for both parties to carefully review, research, and thoughtfully consider each proposal. This is what good faith bargaining is all about.

Working to Reach an Agreement
Bargaining is a collaborative process focused on discussing ideas, addressing concerns, and working toward reaching an agreement. The Company and Union bargaining committees are committed to engaging in productive, good-faith discussions and look forward to continuing negotiations in the weeks ahead.

The Company and Union are scheduled to meet again in early March. We will continue to provide updates as information becomes available.
